The moral obligation of religious groups during the lockdown

There is a lockdown in Iraq and some other countries, and their living standards in terms of their daily income is worsening. During this time, since the Iraqi government refuses to provide any financial assistance for those affected, the religious and moral obligation of the religious groups who possess public wealth (Khoms¹, money from the shrines, owned investments, and the like) is to distribute this money to people who have had their jobs suspended or to their own destitute followers. Some of them don’t even have their daily necessities to live under these circumstances.

Note: What I mean is financial assistance sufficient for the families for at least one month. I’m not talking about simple assistance that some individuals or groups, may God reward them with good, took upon themselves to provide.

¹ Khoms: The share of money that is to be given to the appointed Imam of the time-Trans.
